What is an AC MCCB? An AC MCCB (Moulded Case Circuit Breaker, AC-rated) is the standard industrial circuit breaker for Pakistani sub-DB feeders and motor branches above 100 A — built to IEC 60947-2 with 25–65 kA breaking capacity and adjustable thermal-magnetic trip settings. CNC YCM1 (entry-level) and YCM7 (premium) families cover 3-pole and 4-pole configurations from 20 A to 1250 A. Above 100 A use 4-pole MCCBs to switch the neutral as well, ensuring complete isolation during maintenance.
