What is an HRC fuse? An HRC (High Rupturing Capacity) fuse is a high-breaking-capacity sacrificial overcurrent device used as backup protection for MCCB feeders, capacitor banks, motor branches, and distribution panels — built to IEC 60269. Pakistani industrial installations use HRC fuses to protect against short-circuit currents that exceed the upstream MCCB's Icu. Available in cylindrical (RT18 family), HRC blade (NT00 / NT1 / NT2), and DC PV (YCF8 / RT18-32 / RT18-63) formats. Classes: gG (general), gM (motor), aM (accompanied motor), gPV (photovoltaic).
