About

What is an MCCB? A Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) is an industrial-frame circuit breaker rated for higher current and breaking capacity than an MCB — typically 16 A to 1600 A, with breaking capacities of 25–65 kA, built into a moulded plastic housing. Pakistani factory sub-DBs, commercial feeders, and motor branches use MCCBs above 100 A where an MCB's 6 kA Icu is insufficient. The CNC YCM1 and YCM7 families cover 3-pole and 4-pole configurations at 20 A to 1250 A, certified to IEC 60947-2 with adjustable thermal-magnetic trip settings.
