A panel thermostat is a DIN-rail bi-metallic or electronic temperature switch installed inside electrical cabinets to control cooling fans, anti-condensation heaters, or alarm contacts based on cabinet temperature. Pakistani factory cabinets in 35–50 °C ambient need active cooling above 60 °C internal; KNX / SCADA installations need temperature monitoring for thermal-stress alarms.
