About
We are proud to offer a great all Australian yarn with its own story. Tom Cooper Yarns come from the outback area of NSW and is grown on local family farms. The wool is sources from the Mullengudgery genetic line which started in the late 1800's and was first registered in 1923. The farm is still family run today. The fibre is scoured in Geelong and processed in Bacchus Marsh then spun into yarn at Great Ocean Road Mill in Victoria, a totally off grid sustainable mill. The wool contains no added chemicals or dyes, coming straight from the sheep with no additional chemical processes. Perfectly soft for newborns and young babies, perfect for sweaters, great for arans, The wool needs to be handwashed in warm water and wool wash. We hope you enjoy knitting with this fine all Australian fine Merino wool as much as we do and love bringing it to you.
