About
Some summers are ones you never forget – not because of where you went but because of how they made you feel. There's nothing quite like the exhilaration of disembarking from a train into a new city, sharing a hotel balcony with loved ones, and dressing in your favourite outfit simply because it was one of those days. Album 91 is a collection of summer clothing created by Cord as a tribute to those feelings. Inspired by summer holidays spent travelling as a child, this collection is a colourful and playful blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern style. While drawing on feelings of nostalgia, Album 91 translates those feelings into handmade summer clothing. The clothes in the collection are inspired by the carefree atmosphere of summer travel and are made for everyday life. The bright colours are a nod to India's festive visual culture, and the designs playfully overlay and interact with each other on the silhouettes. Patterns clash with purpose, like the vibrancy and spontaneity of summer markets, train rides, and vacation photos. Each piece has the impression of arriving—of finding a location, a moment, or a memory that becomes part of your story. Handcrafted with Intention Crafts have been a vital component of Cord's design ethos, and this is reflected in Album 91. Each piece in the collection is crafted with a minimum of one technique to ensure that it is imbued with texture, individuality,
