Spectacle Makers For London Design Festival 2024 Nine interpretations of the spectacle frame, by nine renowned creatives. Artists and designers, harnessing their vision to enhance ours. Each Spectacle Maker worked in collaboration with a Cubitts designer to translate their practice into a pair of spectacles, handmade in our King’s Cross workshop. For two weeks, the frames are available to bid on in an online closed auction. All proceeds will be donated to Create, a charity seeking to empower lives, reduce isolation, and enhance wellbeing through the creative arts. You can see and try on the frames in person at Cubitts Islington for the duration of London Design Festival (until Saturday 28th September), when the auction closes.
