Chalcedony beads are the translucent ones — a soft, waxy glow rather than sparkle, in colors that stay pastel. Blue chalcedony from Namibia is the classic, a milky sky blue that deepens in the larger cuts; green, pink, purple, and white chalcedony run the same way, quiet and even. Smooth rounds show the glow best, faceted nuggets and tear drops give it edges, and free-form ovals carry it as a focal. It sits easily beside pearl, moonstone, and sterling, and it is the color that softens a strand.
