The coin is the perfect shape for gemstones — it presents a flat surface to showcase a stone's natural beauty, and a wide canvas to highlight faceting at its best. Dakota’s faceted coins are cut with a precise square-facet pattern that catches light in a distinct checkerboard grid, and we've expanded the line with a "star cut" — a six-sided geometric star set into a flat tabletop face for a different kind of shine. Every coin has a gently puffed edge (not a hard flat disc) and a hole sized to take up to 20 gauge wire. We carry the cut across 4mm to 12mm and 50+ stone types, with pricing that reflects how efficiently this pattern can be cut — not the complexity of the design.
