About
Faceted shapes are gemstone beads cut with flat, polished planes across a sculpted profile, so the outline gives a strand its structure and the facets give it sparkle. This collection gathers the fancy faceted cuts: swirl ovals and rice beads, faceted and puff squares and six-point star beads at 6–8mm, ovals, rectangles and triangle-cut puff ovals around 8x10mm, and marquise beads at the statement size of 10x16mm. Every option comes as a 15–16 inch strand. More than 30 stones are cut this way — amethyst, labradorite, lapis, garnet, aquamarine, carnelian, tiger eye, sodalite, amazonite, peach moonstone and the full quartz family among them. Use marquise and rectangles as centerpieces, rice beads and swirl ovals for texture, and squares, stars and triangle-cut puff ovals as accents — mixing one faceted shape into smooth rounds keeps the sparkle looking deliberate.
