He made strides in 2021 with a series of impressive performances on the Online Darts League, and the following year he made his Lakeside debut at the WDF World Championships. At the start of 2022, Scutt won a two-year tour card at UK Q-School to join the professionals on the PDC circuit. In 2023, a run to the final of Players Championship 27 helped Scutt to secure a debut in the PDC World Darts Championship.
