The Right Pad for Every Stage of Correction Polishing pads are a crucial part of the process, the wrong pad can undo even the best compound. Made from foam, microfibre and wool, our range covers every stage of correction, from heavy cutting to final finishing. Every brand grades this stage a little differently, so we have broken it down by colour below. Show more ▾ Cutting pads: aggressive foam or wool for removing heavy scratches and oxidation Polishing pads: medium density foam for refining after cutting and building gloss Finishing pads: ultra soft foam for applying sealants and waxes and locking in the final finish Microfibre pads: faster cutting than foam for the same effort, with a finer finish than wool Specialty pads: spot correction, edge and contour pads for the areas a full size pad cannot reach Guide Buff and Shine Pads Blueberry for heavy polish, Yellow for the everyday refine. Guide Lake Country Pads Orange is the light polishing grade across SDO, HDO and CCS. Guide Maxshine Pads Yellow refines after a cut, Red locks in the final gloss.
