Detech built its reputation on aftermarket coils that outperformed the factory ones, particularly the S.E.F. Butterfly and Excelerator ranges for White's, Garrett, Tesoro and Fisher machines. The wide-scan butterfly geometry covers more ground per sweep and holds depth better in mineralized soil than a comparable concentric, which is why relic hunters ran them for years on DFX, MXT and Tejon platforms. Detech also made the SSP two-box deep-seeking systems for cache and large-object work. Much of what is here fits detectors the original makers discontinued, so if you are keeping an older machine alive it is worth a look.
