The F11 is Fisher's entry-level detector and one of the least complicated ways into the hobby. Four-tone audio, a numeric target ID and simple push-button discrimination mean you can be hunting properly within an hour of opening the box, and the whole machine is light enough that a child or an adult can swing it for an afternoon. It will find coins and jewelry in parks, gardens and dry sand, which is exactly what a first detector needs to do.
