The ACE 150 was where the ACE line started: three search modes, no target ID numbers to speak of, and a submersible coil on a machine light enough for a child to swing. It was never a sophisticated detector and it was never sold as one. It got a generation of people into the hobby and a lot of them are still in it. Battery covers, armrest pads and straps here also fit the ACE 250 and 350 and the AT series. The current equivalent is the ACE 300 .
