The Axiom is Garrett's pulse induction gold detector and their answer to the heavyweight machines that dominated prospecting for years. At around 4.2 lbs it is light enough to swing all day without a harness, and the pulse induction circuitry ignores the mineralization and hot rocks that stop a VLF machine dead. Mono and DD coils are both available, covering open ground and trashier patches. For anyone working genuinely difficult goldfields, it delivers PI depth without the physical cost.
