When a child is given a box of crayons, they almost always reach for the brightest colour first. A bold red, a happy yellow, a vibrant blue. They do not think about rules or perfection; they simply begin. On a blank sheet of paper appear flowers, leaves, birds, little hearts and simple drawings made with pure intuition. These are often the first symbols we learn to create because they are the easiest way to communicate what we feel. Before words become complicated, emotions are simple. A flower means joy, a heart means love, a bird means freedom. This collection was born from that idea. Inspired by the honesty of childhood creativity, we embraced saturated primary colours and intuitive designs that feel spontaneous, joyful, and alive. Using our unique interpretation of couching, small strips of handwoven Chanderi fabric were carefully guided and stitched together with fine nylon thread to create motifs that felt like they were sketched directly onto fabric with a crayon rather than stitched with a needle. Every piece carries the spirit of nimble creativity and the freedom to create without overthinking, to trust instinct, and to find beauty in simple forms. At the heart of this collection is also our commitment to sustainability and mindful craftsmanship. By transforming small fragments of handwoven Chanderi into vibrant works of art, we celebrate the beauty of using what already exists and seeing possibility in every piece. To us, sustainability is not merely a practice; it is an act of imagination. Much like a child who can turn a blank page into an entire world, we believe even the smallest fabric remnants can become something extraordinary, where emotions are easy to communicate and beauty feels instinctive.
