When looking for door handles for existing or new double doors it's important to create a balance between style and practicality. There are two distinct collections Not Rebated and Rebated . A double door from DirectDoors.com requires an equally impressive double door handle pack offering everything you need to fit a door in one box, including a latch, slipbolt and high quality hinges. The hinge or lock / latch options vary depending on the chosen product but each product states the hinge sizes, latch or lock type and colour / finishes. These are all superior quality fittings, no inferior base metals are used and all products are guaranteed. All fixings are included. Option 1, Not Rebated Handle Packs: These handle packs must only be used with door pairs that are “Not Rebated” where they meet in the middle – please only use with door pairs from these collections listed below: “Internal Pairmaker Double Doors” “Internal French Doors” “Internal Coloured Door Pairs” Please note: the double doors handle packs are not suitable for PVC and industrial style double doors. We include two pairs of handles, one latch, *one flush slipbolt and six complimentary hinges, the hinges will be the nearest available colour match for the handles as will the lock/latch. These packs (because of the bolt type) are not suitable for hollow doors and the *bolt edge will show on the very top face of any door where it closes against the frame door stop - only visible when open.
