About

The Axiom Tempo is an overstable approach disc. It was released at the 2023 MVP Circuit Challenge and took Gyro fans by storm! Demand was high but supply was low until the 2024 OTB Open release featured the Tempo in the mind-blowing Proton Soft plastic! Stick around because there's about to be another drop of this popular approach disc! To celebrate the MVP Open the Tempo will be released in Eclipse 2.0! You can preorder them now! So why has the Tempo been so popular? Aren't there a ton of forehand-worthy approach discs out there already? There are a couple of reasons. One, it's just a tad less overstable than most other FH approach discs! This makes it appealing to newer players, and those looking for a straighter and more workable disc! Two, the Tempo is shallower than most discs like it. This gives it a comfortable feel in the hand. The low profile also makes it much easier to achieve a flutter-free sidearm! Here's what Axiom has to say about the Tempo: With flight numbers of 4 | 4 | 0 | 2.5, the Tempo was designed as a low-profile approach putter that, while not overwhelmingly overstable, can handle torque for forehand or backhand drives and approaches. Get into the flow that works for you with the 2024 OTB Open exclusive Proton Soft Tempo - the first official release of the disc that took us all by storm in 2023’s Circuit Challenge! This video from TK Disc Golf is a great review of the Tempo! In this Video TK compares it to the popular Discraft Zone. Flight Numbers Speed : 4 Glide: 4 Turn : 0 Fade: 2.5 As you can see the Tempo has just 0.5 less turn than the Zone. Flight Path Chart Here's an Axiom Tempo flight chart to give you a basic idea of how it's going to fly! Common Uses Forehand Approaches - This may just be the perfect forehand approach disc for beginners. If you're not ready for the overstability of a Zone, consider a Tempo. As a bonus, the shallower rim will help you to achieve a smooth release with no flutter! If you're a more advanced disc golfer,
