It was introduced in 2018, at Discraft's Ace Race that year. It's definitely not one of Discraft's most popular or well-known discs, but in our opinion, it's seriously underrated! The Sol is a real game-changer in the woods! Its understability and slow controllable speed help you hit tight wooded lines! It's very easy to throw this disc dead straight with a hyzer flip, or gently flip it over all the way to the ground, without fade, but also without it turning and burning! Backhands The Sol is a backhand wonder! From the feel to the flight, everything is just slightly unique in a refreshing way! It's a great disc for hitting tight lines. You can easily send it straight down a tunnel, or drift it to the right to resemble a sidearm line. (Switch that around if you're a lefty.) Advanced and intermediate players can get the Sol flying laser straight by releasing it on a significant hyzer. You'll have to finetune it to your own power level with a little fieldwork. For shots that turn over with no fade back release the Sol flat. The amazing thing is how the Sol won't just turn and burn, maybe it's due to the high glide! Beginner players will find the Discraft Sol one of the easiest discs to throw straight. If you've been struggling with all your shots fading out early try one of these.
