Founded in 1994 by David McCormack, Gateway Disc Sports is driven by a profound passion for expanding the reach of disc golf. In 1999, the company embarked on its disc molding journey with the introduction of the Sabre in S (Sure Grip) plastic. By 2002, they had gained international recognition with the release of their iconic putter, the Wizard, which many still regard as the pinnacle of disc design. Today, Gateway Disc Sports proudly offers a diverse lineup of over 32 PDGA Approved golf disc models. These discs are meticulously crafted in three distinct blends of plastic: Diamond, Platinum, and Sure Grip. Their primary putter plastic, Sure Grip, is available in a wide array of flexibilities and surface textures, catering to a broad spectrum of player preferences. The putter range from Gateway Disc Sports consistently garners high marks for performance and remains a fan favorite, firmly establishing the company as a respected and influential player in the world of disc golf.
