From: Yarmouth, Canada Handedness: Right PDGA: #159974 Joined Team Discmania: 2024 About Dylan: I was first introduced to Disc Golf in February of 2020 through a YouTube video by Brodie Smith and Paul McBeth. I immediately wanted to try it for myself. Later, I discovered that the closest course was two and a half hours away; So I decided to make a small 9 hole course in my front yard. My dad fabricated a basket for me, and I got addicted! One year later, baseball was no longer in my life as Disc Golf became my favourite thing to do. I got to play in my first tournament and meet other disc golfers in 2021. To my surprise, I was able to win the MA2 division by 10+ strokes. I played two more events that year and won them both! Including my first B-Tier win in MA2. In 2022, I had the opportunity to play in PEI for the Canadian National Championships. I ended up taking it down in MA1! In 2023, I secured my first MPO title. I also had the opportunity to participate in the first DGPT event in Canada. The Discmania Open. I finished tied for 26th. Overall I was not proud of my performance, but learned a lot! Disc Golf has become an amazing opportunity in my life, and I’m truly thankful that I get to play it. I want to take it as far as I can, as I’m still a student of the game and always learning. I’m constantly wanting more out of myself and putting in the work to get there. I’m honoured to be a part of Team Discmania and looking forward to throwing the best plastic in our sport!
