Liqueurs originated from herbal medicines. It is thought that they were first made in Italy during the 13th century, usually prepared by monks. Now they are made worldwide by infusing fruits, flowers, herbs, spices, cream or nuts with distilled spirit. Served in many ways. Over ice, with cream, in coffee, add to mixers or mix it up and get creative with your cocktails.
