Vapour Panel Plasterboard (also known as foil-backed or vapour control plasterboard) is a high-performance gypsum plasterboard with a metallised polyester foil laminated on the reverse side. This creates an effective vapour barrier that limits moisture diffusion and helps prevent condensation, damp, and mould growth. It combines standard plasterboard convenience with built-in vapour control, making it ideal for internal linings of external walls, ceilings, roof decks, loft conversions, and partitions where moisture management is important.
