The Euro-V is the member of Peli's V-Series family designed and manufactured in Germany specifically for European military and public-safety markets. Its defining characteristic is a steel rack frame with an industry-standard metric hole pattern — M6 threaded inserts, not cage nuts — which is the preferred fastener standard in German, French, and other continental European armed forces and emergency services. The frame is available in 24-inch (61 cm) and 30-inch (76 cm) rack depths, and the case shell uses wall-mounted cylindrical elastomeric shock isolators that provide a gentler, more progressive shock response than the corner-mounted mounts found in some competing designs. The case is interstackable with Super-V and BlackBox cases, allowing a mixed stack of families on the same vehicle pallet without adapters. European Defence and Public Safety Context European procurement programmes for portable rack systems increasingly specify metric fasteners and prefer cases manufactured within the EU for supply-chain reasons. The Euro-V's German origin and metric fastener interface allow it to meet these requirements without modification. It is routinely found in German Bundeswehr C4 system programmes, French Gendarmerie mobile command posts, and Scandinavian and Benelux public safety communications networks. The shorter lead time enabled by European manufacturing is a significant advantage for urgent-requirement (UREP) acquisitions. European resellers and system integrators typically stock Euro-V cases in 5U and 6U configurations as the most common sizes for radio communication and tactical network equipment. Available Configurations The Euro-V is offered in nine sizes from 4U to 10U. Both 24-inch and 30-inch depth variants are available across the range. The 30-inch depth Euro-V accommodates the same modern server and appliance chassis as the Super-V 30-inch variant, making the two families interchangeable in many tender specifications.
