Hair Masks & Deep Conditioning Treatments in India A hair mask is a leave-on treatment with a higher concentration of conditioning agents than a rinse-out conditioner. Used once a week, it is the most useful step for hair that is dry, chemically treated or exposed to hard water — a common problem across much of India. Matching a mask to your hair Dry or frizzy hair — look for shea butter, coconut, argan or avocado oil. Damaged or coloured hair — protein-containing masks (rice, wheat or soy protein) help rebuild the hair shaft. Alternate with a moisture mask; protein alone can leave hair stiff. Oily scalp, dry ends — apply from mid-length down and keep the mask off the scalp. Traditional ingredients — bhringraj, amla, hibiscus and fenugreek appear in Ayurvedic hair care and are well suited to weekly masking. Getting more out of it Apply to damp, towel-dried hair rather than soaking wet, comb it through with a wide-tooth wooden comb , and leave it 15–30 minutes. Longer is not better — it stops absorbing. All vegan and cruelty-free — no honey, silk protein or keratin. Browse hair care and beauty and bath . Pan-India delivery in 3–5 days.
