Aquilegia, often referred to as Columbine or Granny's Bonnet, is a whimsical perennial with delicate, rounded leaves and tall, sturdy stems. Perched atop the lacy foliage are magnificent, bell-shaped flowers that differ in color and form across varieties. Choose from single, double, spurless, short-spurred, pastel, or neon to fit any garden space. From mid-spring through summer, Columbine blooms profusely for weeks on end , filling the void between early spring bulbs and the peak flowering period. Oh, and did we mention that Aquilegia is highly attractive to hummingbirds and bees ?!
