They cure by evaporation, are ready to use straight from the tin, and deliver a clear, non-yellowing finish that suits most residential applications. Ideal Applications for 1K Polyurethane 1K systems are well suited to bedrooms, living rooms, and moderate-traffic residential areas where the extreme hardness of a 2K system is not required. They are easier to apply, have a longer working time, and are more forgiving for less experienced applicators.
