And a kitchen paper roll can be a great way to wipe away your messy countertops. However, we aren't talking about the usual kitchen towel tissue, which is made from trees. Our range of kitchen paper towel roll is made from upcycled sugarcane bagasse. Tree-free and plastic-free, this tissue paper roll for the kitchen can be an eco-friendly alternative to get rid of your cooking messes without sending the planet down the drain. Simply put, these towels are made from bagasse, which is a by-product left behind once juice is extracted from sugarcane stalks. While this sweet-smelling waste is usually dumped in landfills, we upcycle this plant waste and carve it into kitchen paper towels that are planet-safe and super absorbent. How Is a Tree-Free Kitchen Paper Roll Made? The process of making tree-free kitchen paper towels is pretty similar to those made from tree-made paper. However, the only difference is that while regular tissues are made from pulp extracted from trees, these tissues are made from pulping bagasse. The manufacturing process starts by sourcing bagasse fibers. After extraction of the source material, the fibers are properly washed and cleaned to get rid of any dirt, grime, or dust. Once the fibers are all clean, they are sent for the pulping process. Our kitchen paper towels are made in-house. And, because we prefer an uncompromising quality, our manufacturing process for kitchen towel tissue involves a three-step pulping process. This includes pulping the bagasse fibers three times in a row to offer better consistency. Once the pulp is ready, the material is transferred into molds and pressed under high pressure to get the desired shape.
