Sugarcane products are made from bagasse, the fibrous byproduct remaining in the sugarcane stalk after extracting juice. These natural products are modified into strong, compostable tableware, rather than being thrown away as waste. Here is how bagasse products are made: Collection of Bagasse - After juice has been extracted, the dry fiber is collected. Cleaning & Processing - The fibers were cleaned and then made into pulp. Heat & Pressure Moulding - The pulp was formed into plates, bowls, and cutlery with heat and pressure.
