10Cr15MoV is a high-carbon,martensitic stainless steel with excellent hardness(58–62 HRC),edge retention,and corrosion resistance.It contains 1.0%carbon,15%chromium,1.2%molybdenum,and 0.3%vanadium.This composition provides good wear resistance and toughness.It is widely used in kitchen knives,hunting knives,and EDC tools due to its balance of performance and affordability.
