Kasama Ware

Kasama ware is a style of Japanese pottery made in the area around the city of Kasama in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Kasama ware has a strong finish which is produced with fine grained clay. Because of its strength and stain resistant feature, it is widely used for kitchenware. 笠間燒（Kasama ware）的歷史源自於日本江戶時代，為關東地區最爲古老的陶器，現產於日本茨城縣笠間市地區。笠間瓷器採用細粒黏土製成，具有堅固的表面效果，由於其強度和防污特性，它被廣汎應用到廚具和餐具的製作。
