In the dizzying scenario of transformation that our society has experienced, education has not been left on the sidelines. Automation, robotics, 3D Printing and artificial intelligence have redefined the way we learn, work and relate to each other. In this context, digital literacy becomes an imperative. Basic knowledge is not enough, mastery of advanced skills is required to fully exploit the potential of the digital world. The Codigo Escuela 4.0 programme, promoted by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, is a response to the challenge of preparing students for a constantly evolving future.
