About
PU Faulds & Tassets Steel Looks Below the Belt, None of the Weight PU faulds and tassets are waist and thigh armor cast in polyurethane: overlapping plates that continue your armor from the breastplate down over hips and thighs, hand-painted to the look of segmented steel at roughly a quarter of steel's weight. Hips and thighs are among the most-targeted zones in LARP combat and the most commonly bare, and steel is heaviest exactly where it swings with every step. PU closes that gap without the fatigue: no rust after rain, no polishing between events, and nothing slowing your footwork at hour ten of a fight day. Faulds or Tassets? Faulds are the hooped plates that extend from the breastplate over the abdomen and hips; tassets are the plates that hang below them, guarding the thighs. Historically they worked as a system, and they still do: faulds finish a cuirass downward, tassets cover the hit zone under it. In LARP the words blur together, and this collection covers the whole span, so whichever term your ruleset or your search used, the armor you meant is here. Build It Your Way Faulds and tassets set: The complete lower system, hips to thighs, that turns a bare breastplate into a finished kit. Merc tassets: Segmented steel-look thigh plates alone, the fast upgrade when your torso is done and your legs are costing you hit points. Captain belt shields: Plates hung directly from the belt, armor for kits that never wear a cuirass at all: the officer, the duelist, the light fighter. Cuirass with tassets: Torso and thigh armor in one purchase, the full Palace Guard silhouette in a single decision, and the natural centerpiece to match the rest of our Palace Guard PU pieces. All of them strap and adjust over clothing and gambesons alike, and combine freely with Epic Armoury's steel, leather, and PU armor lines. Why PU Here, of All Places Every armor material has its place, and we make faulds and tassets in steel and leather too. But waist armor is the piece your legs
