Some smokers want a thicker feel to the chillum, while others prefer smaller and thinner products that are more accessible. 3. Loading end You may want something with a larger loading end. This produces a larger “hit” for the one-hitter. 4. Mouthpiece Lastly, the opening size of the mouthpiece can also accompany the size choice you make with the loading end. A smaller mouthpiece will slow down the smoke and may take a little extra work to pull it through. Larger mouthpieces will travel a bit quicker.
