Alu Rippers are Alu-Power 3-flute roughing end mills for high-speed roughing and heavy metal removal in aluminium and other non-ferrous materials. They are suited to machining work where a roughing cutter is required before finishing operations. Choose between regular, short and long lengths to suit the required reach, and select plain or flat shank versions to match the toolholding arrangement. Sizes across the range run from 6 mm to 32 mm diameter, depending on the model. Several short and long options are TiAlN coated, while the range also includes a regular-length carbide cutter with a reduced neck and aluminium pitch designed to help prevent built-up edge.
