Did you know that Cardinals are typically the first bird at your feeder in the morning and the last bird there in the evening? These friendly birds eat mainly seeds and love sunflower and safflower seeds, but will also happily stop by your feeder for some cracked corn or peanuts. Cardinals prefer feeders that are large enough for them to perch on while they eat.
