Knife Scales

About

Knife scales are the handle material that knife makers epoxy to either side of a knife tang. Many of our pen-turning customers cross over into knife handle work — the materials are largely the same (stabilized burls, dense resins, micarta, hybrids), just sized and shaped differently. We stock knife scales in the materials and dimensions knife makers actually use, including paired scales matched for grain and color so the two sides of the handle look intentional.
