About

Squaring the ends of your drilled pen blanks is the unglamorous step that separates a clean pen from a wobbly one — and the right trimmer makes all the difference. We stock the Universal Barrel Trimming System (in both steel and carbide cutter versions), 7mm barrel trimmers, the Carbide Insert Trimming System with its rotating cutters, sleeve sets that adapt your trimmer to multiple tube sizes (8mm, 10mm, 12.5mm and more), the Pen Blank Squaring Jig, and our V-Block / Offset Trimming System. A note for resin and tube-in cast blanks: we recommend the sanding-jig method over pen mills — the carbide cutters can chip or tear out the cast resin. Pick the system that fits your kit lineup and your tolerance for shop noise.
