Crepe is a type of weave that has a pebble-like surface. Lightweight crepes, such as a silk crepe, are suitable for blouses.  Crepe de chine is a lightweight fabric that has a slightly crepe texture but not as pronounced as crepe. It's light weight quality makes it perfect for trendy blouses, dresses, skirts and jacket linings. It comes in an array of prints and solids. It can be found in silk and polyester.
