At Fabrics Galore we try wherever possible to source children's cotton and jersey which meets the OEKO-TEX 100 standard for textiles which means it has been manufactured free from harmful chemicals so you know it will be 100% safe next to the skin. Look also for organic cotton and GOTS certified cotton. Some synthetic fibres are excellent for children's wear such as fleece fabric which is warm, cosy, light-weight and washes well.
