To stretch wool fabric, soak it in lukewarm water for 10-30 minutes with a surfactant, such as a mild shampoo, conditioner or detergent. Take the fabric and gently squeeze to remove any excess water. You can then start to repeatedly stretch the fabric in sections, pulling from the top and bottom. When you are happy with the size and shape, let the fabric dry.
