About

SWEED Lashes was initially founded by Gabriella Elio, and is now currently one of the biggest lash brands in Sweden. Established in 2015, these super lashes have just landed at FalseEyelashes.co.uk for the very first time! Naturally, we're super excited, and we know you're just going to love these luxury lashes. Business owner Gabriella is one of Sweden's most iconic makeup artists and has collaborated with several outstanding girl bosses in the beauty industry. Gabriella's previous collabs include Terry De Gunzberg and Nikki Wolff. The SWEED brand What makes SWEED stand out is their translucent cotton band that makes applying false lashes seamless for beginners and professionals. All SWEED Lashes are handcrafted and if looked after carefully, they can be reused up to 10 times. For those who haven’t guessed, the title for this company comes from the combination of two words! Sweden and sweet – which together create SWEED! Gabriella wanted to make her country known to the beauty industry, and the iconic blue box that houses the products resembles those commonly found in sweetshops in Sweden (usually created only for macaroons, sweets, and yummy bites.) SWEED Design When asked why she chose this gorgeous blue as part of her brand development, Gabriella commented saying that she had always loved the colour of the Riva boats and the Mediterranean Sea. So she decided to choose the retro round box (in blue) and it took her almost 2-3 years to come up with the final design. Nothing like it had ever existed on the market in Sweden, so the new invention took a bit of time to come to completion! Gabriella was totally obsessed - “The BOX just has to be round!” Considering most other suppliers still offer lashes in square boxes, her decision was a hit, and certainly well worth the wait! From the box to the lash design, SWEED is a company that is setting the standard for others in the industry – and the bar is certainly set rather high! Sustainable and Reusable SWEED is all abou
