Elliptical Cross Trainers - Full-Body Cardio Without the Impact An elliptical gives you a running-style workout with your feet never leaving the pedals - so knees, hips and ankles are spared the pounding of pavement or a treadmill while your legs, glutes and arms all share the work. It's the machine of choice for anyone protecting their joints without easing off on intensity, from daily commercial gym traffic through to rehab and home cardio. The Reload Elliptical Range Every elliptical in this collection is stocked locally and ships from our Sydney warehouse: Compact Front-Drive (XZ-E18): The smallest footprint in the range at 172cm long, with a low step-up height that makes it the easiest to get on and off. 20 levels of silent magnetic resistance and a 140kg user rating - the sharp-priced entry to commercial-quality elliptical training. Rear-Drive Cross Trainer (EB8100): A longer machine with 26 resistance levels, a natural 480mm stride, LED console with 10 programs and a 150kg user rating - the mid-range pick for home gyms, studios and lighter-traffic commercial floors. Self-Generating Commercial Flagship (EB8000): A 200kg machine powered entirely by your stride - no power point, no cords, position it anywhere. 26 levels, a generous 520mm stride and the highest user rating in the range at 180kg. Built for gym floors that run all day. Front Drive vs Rear Drive - What's the Difference? On a front-drive elliptical the flywheel sits ahead of you, which keeps the machine shorter and the step-up lower - ideal where space is tight. On a rear-drive machine the flywheel sits behind, which typically gives a longer, flatter, more running-like stride. Neither is "better" - it comes down to your space and how much of a runner's motion you want. Do Ellipticals Need a Power Point? Not all of them. Our self-generating models power the console entirely from your movement - no cabling, no cords across the floor, and they can be positioned anywhere in the room. That's a genuine adv
