About

Vinyl Gym Flooring PVC laminated tiles give you the look of timber or stone with the performance of commercial gym rubber underneath. A hard-wearing vinyl wear layer takes the scuffs, chalk and foot traffic; a dense rubber base underneath absorbs the impact. It is the finish to choose when the floor is part of the fit-out rather than just protection for it — reception zones, boutique studios, allied health spaces, PT rooms and any gym where members notice the room before they notice the equipment. 15mm or 20mm? The two thicknesses install in completely different ways, so pick before you order: 15mm — flat bottom. Butt-jointed and laid with double-sided tape for a seamless, gapless floor. No ramps, corners or clips are available in this thickness. 20mm — buckle bottom. Tiles connect with plastic clips (sold separately, allow one pack of 6 per tile). Lifts cleanly at end of lease, and accepts bevelled edge ramps and corner sections for finished edges. If any edge of your floor will be exposed — a raised platform, a lifting zone, a floor that stops mid-room — go 20mm so you can ramp it. An unfinished 20mm lip is a trip hazard. Four Finishes Grey Stone Look — mottled concrete grey, industrial, hides dust well Slate Look — the brightest finish, opens up low-light rooms Natural Oak — warm honey timber, zones well against the stone finishes Mahogany — deep red-brown, the most forgiving on chalk and scuff marks Coverage & Ordering Every tile is 1m x 1m and covers exactly 1m², so a 30m² room needs 30 tiles plus 5–10% for cuts. Tiles trim cleanly with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. Planning a full fit-out? Contact our Bankstown Megastore team and we will work through quantities, trims and clip counts with you.
