About Meri Meri Meri Meri was founded by Meredithe Start-Smith. The name of the brand came from the nickname she had as a child. Growing up in Kansas, near Hallmark’s HQ, Meridithe would create her own greetings cards and stick them to the windows of the building, hoping that the people that worked there would see them. In 1985, she started her own business, creating bright handmade cards that were sold in stationery stores across Los Angeles. Meredithe moved to the UK with her husband, and the company is now based in Cheltenham, selling a vast collection of charming party wares across the UK, Europe and the US.
