FAQs Q1: What types of honey do you carry? We stock a wide range of honey varieties including raw honey, manuka honey, clover honey, acacia honey, wildflower honey, sidr honey, eucalyptus honey, and flavored infused honeys, sourced from both local and international apiaries. Q2: What makes Manuka honey different from regular honey? Manuka honey comes from bees that pollinate the Manuka bush in New Zealand and Australia. It contains a unique compound called methylglyoxal (MGO), which gives it exceptionally high antibacterial properties. It is rated by UMF or MGO grading on the label. Q3: Is raw honey safe for everyone? Raw honey is safe for most adults and children over 12 months. It should never be given to infants under 1 year old due to the risk of infant botulism from naturally occurring Clostridium botulinum spores that immature digestive systems cannot handle. Q4: Has your honey been tested for purity and quality? Yes, all honey products we carry come from reputable suppliers and meet food safety standards. Premium honeys such as Manuka are sold with their certification grades (UMF or MGO ratings) to verify authenticity and potency. Q5: Why has my honey crystallized and is it still good to eat? Crystallization is a natural process that occurs in pure, raw honey and does not indicate spoilage. It can be gently reversed by placing the jar in warm water. Honey has an almost indefinite shelf life when stored properly in a sealed container.
