About
Ben Roethlisberger is one of the greatest quarterbacks in Pittsburgh Steelers history. "Big Ben" spent all 18 of his NFL seasons in the black and gold, winning two Super Bowls (XL after the 2005 season against Seattle, XLIII after 2008 against Arizona), making six Pro Bowls, throwing for over 64,000 career yards, and ranking among the franchise's all-time leaders at virtually every passing statistic. The 11th overall pick in 2004 out of Miami (Ohio), he beat out Tommy Maddox as a rookie and became the youngest quarterback ever to win a Super Bowl when the Steelers beat Seattle in XL. Roethlisberger's signature trait was his size and pocket presence — at 6-foot-5 and 240+ pounds, he was nearly impossible to take down on first contact, extending plays and creating the kind of off-schedule throws that defined the Steelers' offense for two decades. He retired after the 2021 season as one of the most decorated quarterbacks in modern NFL history. The card collector's view Roethlisberger's flagship rookie is the 2004 Topps Chrome Refractor #205 , with his SP Authentic, Bowman Chrome, and Playoff Contenders Rookie Ticket Auto rookies also driving the premium tier. The 2004 quarterback class is one of the greatest ever — Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, and Big Ben all in the same draft — so his rookies have stayed strong as historical pieces. For Steelers fans, our Ben Roethlisberger plaques pair licensed cards from his Pittsburgh career in display-ready formats — real cards, Super Bowl QB, fan-cave ready.
