About
Buster Posey is one of the greatest catchers of his generation and now runs the San Francisco Giants front office. Across his 12-year playing career (2009-2021) — spent entirely with the Giants — Posey won three World Series titles (2010, 2012, 2014), the 2010 NL Rookie of the Year, the 2012 NL MVP and batting title (.336), seven All-Star selections, four Silver Sluggers, and a Gold Glove. He's eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2027 and considered a near-lock for first-ballot induction. Posey retired after the 2021 season — going out on his own terms after another All-Star year — and joined the Giants ownership group in 2022. On September 30, 2024, he stepped into the role of President of Baseball Operations, making him the rare former superstar to take the lead executive job for the team he won championships with. The Giants are now his organization in every sense — playing-career legend turned franchise architect. The card collector's view Posey's flagship rookie is the 2010 Topps Update #US283 , with his 2010 Bowman Chrome and various premium rookies (Topps Heritage, Topps Chrome) driving the chase. His pre-MLB Bowman Chrome Draft Auto from 2008 — his draft year — is the most-pursued prospect card. PSA 10 examples of his key rookies have traded healthy as his Hall of Fame case has solidified. For Giants fans, our Buster Posey plaques pair real licensed cards from his San Francisco career in display-ready formats — three-time champion, real cards, fan-cave ready.
