Cal Ripken Jr. is one of the most beloved players in baseball history and the eternal face of the Baltimore Orioles. The Hall of Famer spent his entire 21-year career (1981-2001) in Baltimore, breaking Lou Gehrig's "unbreakable" consecutive games played record on September 6, 1995 — and ultimately extending the streak to 2,632 consecutive games before voluntarily ending it in 1998. He was inducted into Cooperstown in 2007 with 98.5% of the vote — one of the highest percentages ever.
